worship the Lord ·because he is holy [^Lin the splendor of his holiness].

³The Lord’s voice [^Cthunder] is heard over the ·sea [^Lwaters; ^Ca symbol of chaos].
    The glorious God thunders;
    the Lord thunders over the ·ocean [^Lmany/mighty waters].
⁴The Lord’s voice is powerful;
    the Lord’s voice is ·majestic [splendid; awesome].
